Wall-mounted range hood

• Hood Width: Wall-mounted range hoods should be at least as wide as the range.
• Hood Height: A typical mounting height for wall mounted hoods is between 30" and 36" above your cooktop above the cooking surface.
• Hood Height = Ceiling Height - Stove Height - 33"or 36"
• Depth: recommend the same or less than your cooktop depth.

Island-mounted range hood

• Hood Width: Island-mounted range hoods are recommended to be 3"-6" wider than the cooking area.
• Hood Height: Typically the recommended installation height for an island mounted range hood is about 30" to 36" from the cooktop.
• Hood Height = Ceiling Height - Stove Height - 33"or 36"

• Internal: Generally recommended. An internal blower is located inside the vent hood. Easy to isntall, motor, liner and hood in one set, high CFM to better function. RHM vent noise is under 70dp
• Remote: the motor is located outside the house, either on the roof or on an outside wall. Lower noise while ask more complicate installation, space and higher budget!
• Ductless: Ductless, also called a recirculating range hood recirculate air through a filter to remove odors without ducting. Filtering and recycling air inside your kitchen. Recirculating hoods require regular filter changes to maximize performance.
